Is it any Coincidence the rebranding of Orcs in Age of Sigmar has as "Orruks" is similar to Urukhai?

I mean, probably not? WHFB has always been derivative of Tolkein. If it had been my decision, I would have gone with "Oruk", but they likely felt that was too on the nose. I've also never been a fan of "Duardin", as I feel "Duradin" would be much more, well, Dwarfy.

Correct, they've been moving away from their older, more generic names for some years now. Adeptus Astartes, Adeptus Sororitas, Astra Militarum, Aeldari, Drukhari, Aelfs, Duardin, Orruks, Ogors... etc.

I'm guessing they renamed Empire 'Cities of Sigmar' as to not confuse Star Wars fans and or to keep Disney lawyers off their backs

Of course it does. They tried trademarking Space Marine, for god's sake. Them blowing up the entire fantasy world was nothing more than a thinly veiled attempt to establish trademarks on things in the public domain.
