I like the idea of the Empire writing a treaty and posing it to the Dwarfs. After all, this is taking place on our soil for the most part. If the Dwarfs want to come into our lands then I say they do it on our terms. Otherwise they are dictating to us how to act in our own country.

Whilst I admit the Humans are most susceptable to corruption can I just point out that if on compresses the time they have been around and their longevity Dark Elves and Charos Dwarves are comparable.

Indeed Veldy.  I pointed that out over at the Dwarf forum.  They're in denial over their Chaos brethren however.  It's gotten to the point where it's like talking to a brick wall in some instances.  We may get a non agression pact, but I don't know.  We'll see how it plays out in the next couple days I guess.

But some of their alliances on the other hand...

Note: at Bugman's, people (well, dwarfs) are right now voting whether or not we should form an alliance.

please post link. As an interesting aside the Dwarven treaty thread on woodies is starting to show some support for us, hope I haven't blown it!

You did a good job Cisse.  You presented it in the best way you could, the only way you could.  We cannot promise them what they want, for we cannot give it.  It is sad that it has come to this.

Judging by what they want, and your guy's reaction, here is my proposal...

We KEEP the clause in our Mission Statement about not fighting the dwarfs, ally with them asmuch as possible against others in actual games, and possibly report not fighting them because of ethical reasons, BUT we do not 'sign' anything with them, we just go for an unspoken agreement. No contract, no casualties.

Good way of doing things.  And for Fluff, we do not include any battles against the Dwarfs.

It makes no sense that we'd fight.

Alright, so any further discussions can go in the Foreign Ministries thread. Superfluous thread now, so locking it up.
