I have stumbled on this web store Caliver books and they are offering a free postage world wide! Has anyone dealt with them yet?

They are a reputable trader that do virtually all the shows on the UK circuit.
They specialise in books, but also do a lot of figures.
I think they are a bit conservative old school, as their website is primitive, and I am not sure if they have a 'proper' online buying procedure.

I have bought from them a few times and it has always gone ok.

Their prices vary quite a bit, so you have to pick the bargains.
Obviously free postage outside of the UK is of no gain to me whatsoever,  :engel:  but for you it's great.

Seems like the miniatures have a good price, but no picture preview or information. For example do they come assemble and/or painted? Considering the lower price I suppose they are second handed, so would be nice to see more details. Or am I forgetting to click somewhere?

Midaski said that '' he has bought from them a few times and it has always gone ok.'' so I assume, that they sell them normally?

It's all new stock as far as I know.

They have a special offers section, where there is a description that may say - tatty packaging or something like that, otherwise it's new.
The prices are generally not that special though.

They do play around with their pricing though.
Sometimes packs are £13 with Free Shipping - other times £11.00 + £4.00 shipping, and on the Buy It Now you don't get the opportunity to haggle over shipping.
If you buy 8 packs on their website you get free shipping, and I think there are free packs deals on some ranges too.

Hunt the best deal carefully.

I think that is just the ebay shop and it has been there for quite a while.
If you check their main website the packs are cheaper, but you pay delivery under 8 packs or £80 I think.

However ebay is mainly for old stock and there are a lot of non website lines.

I should also clarify they have a couple of other ebay sites -

http://stores.ebay.co.uk/Flyte-of-Fantasy?_trksid=p2047675.l2563

http://stores.ebay.co.uk/castingroomminiatures?

Some of their late 2000s stuff is not really worth £2 per mini, so you have to pick and choose - I personally feel a lot of their stuff is overpriced.

Just spotted a tweet on the North Star page that they are winding down the Avatars of War range, and will be having a sale tomorrow - Tuesday - not sure - so if you want to consider getting something, it may be worth a look.

They will probably show up on their Bargains page here:
