Chumley Warner's Empire. 3D printing
« on: November 25, 2010, 05:02:12 PM »
::heretic::(October 2012) Slight change up here, i'm adding a catalogue style picture page at the front of the whole PLOG as a sort of reference of my work, and a barometer of how my collecting is going!

Here is the first completed GW Marauder treat unit.

(July 2012 comment - ''Ok so we have established i have a personality disorder/addiction , and won't stop until I collect and paint every GW human model ever made)

Hi All,

I have created this topic string to contain all my work, rather than posting several thread topics.

Hopefully people may want to bookmark this, as I have a fair few pics from the last 18-24 months since getting back into Warhammer painting.

First unit I painted after a 14 year gap, was these knights, which I re-based today, in a simple coloured sand.

Not the best painting standard, but a solid 10 man sledgehammer in game!

Nordland colours, with an Inner Circle which includes the OOP DOW Gen Sculpt from 1990's..

Just added some more pics.

I got a custom built trophy cabinet maker to build me a glass case to house the army, which is awesome as a showpiece.

Let me know what you think?

These look fantastic, great job. Can I ask, where is the priests shield from?  (The guy with the hammer, I assume he is a priest.)

Absolutely stunning.  :eusa_clap:
I think a I like all best.  :biggriin:

But most of all the flagellants and the free company. I think the colour scheme is very well composed. Even the pink guy fit somehow.

Thanks for sharing

Weeeellllll... I suppose I'm just about willing to concede that these figures are okay... I assume you haven't been painting long?

Uh, we all get sarcasm, right?

I feel my signature should say something witty and urbane, to indicate that I'm a stylish and elegant man. But I'm not. So it doesn't.
Instead it just says 'willies.'
Willies.
See? Told you.

Very nice chumley,

Where the musician of the hand-gunners and the 2nd hand-gunner from the right, 1st row come from? I don't know these two...

Super troopers!!!
I love your army, and I really like that you have painted so many different colours!

Your painting skills, colour tones & style are fantastic, and the fact that you use Mordheim + old OOP stuff makes it even more awesome.  The old models are so full of character that it seems a pity to have to take them out of their display cabinet for a game.  Everything is top notch chumley  :eusa_clap:

Hi The Musician is actually a Greatsword Drummer I think, OOP.

The 2nd from right gunner is an OOP Estalian GW model, they released a few with these SPanish style 16th century helmets.

If you can get hold of them, they are superb models.

After seeing the army in those BatRep photo's I knew I had to take a look at this thread. Brilliant stuff! :eusa_clap:
