Looks awful. It does not help that it is based on the fantasy world of DnD, which is an absolute mess in my opinion.

I just watched a montage for some of 2023's upcoming films. With the Exception of Super Mario; ALL of them are sequels.
What do Transformers 7, Spiderman 6 and Deadpool 3 and Creed 3 all have in common? NAILS in the coffin of variety.

Of the new film, Indris Elba, who plays the character in the TV series, says, “It's very dark." And he said, “We've been working on the television show for about 10 years and so the natural ambition is to take it to the big screen, and so we're here with the first movie.”

And apparently the actor also said that he won't be playing James Bond in the next film of that series.

I took myself to see the latest Dungeons & Dragons movie as a friend told me the heroes from the 1980-somehting cartoon were in it.
I think they took the Marvel-esque humour and semi-forth wall breaking a bit too far
