Beautiful name beautiful colours. Really awesome! That contempt of with the double Gatling guns could win a few arguments.

Extended hull Storm Raven:

Used the chapter house extension kit on this.  Kit is terrible quality and cheap, but the finished effect is pretty cool!  I wouldn't recommend them however.  Super brittle.

Storm Talon:

I love the white on the Dawn Bringers. It looks so smooth and clean. I'm trying to pull that off for some white scars guys I'm working on but just can't quite make it yet.

Really cool philly. The idea of a chaplain dread is amazing. Never would have contemplated it and why not?

Very cool Phil........great color choice too though the white must be a pain to paint.

Thanks everyone!

Really cool philly. The idea of a chaplain dread is amazing. Never would have contemplated it and why not?

It is a Forgeworld model!  My choice of Dark Angels was for two main reasons - plasma and chaplains.  I love both!  The Forgeworld Chaplain Dread just looks so good!

I love the white on the Dawn Bringers. It looks so smooth and clean. I'm trying to pull that off for some white scars guys I'm working on but just can't quite make it yet.

I prime the models white, use black wash at the joins, and paint white over the primer.  Sometimes, to get it as white as possible, I will do another coat over the top of heavily watered down white!  Being very careful with the details minimizes having to touch up the white.  It really is so hard to work with, but if you constantly work to maintain the primer whiteness it isn't so bad!

I thought your Orks were pretty spectacular where the orange really made them stand out.

You have done it again with these with the white - beautifully co-ordinated army.  :eusa_clap:

You've obviously got too much holiday time  :engel:

I hate people who don't paint their armies, hate them with all my guts. Beats me how they value other things over painting, like eating or brushing teeth.

Finished my new wazbom blastajet.  Such a fun model.  Can't wait to use it.  Not overly powerful but just crazy!

I tried a couple things with this one.  Different sort of weathering and rust style.  Pretty happy with it.  Didn't use my airbrush for any of this.

I need to wash and deepen the wiring here. The yellow is all messed up.  I like the rest of it!

I really do love your orange orks, I've got a collection of old RT Space Orks and I'm tempted to follow suit, but not sure I can do half as well as you have!  :eusa_clap:

Thank you!

I did a quick test paint for my knight army.  I like the style, but it needs decals and weathering.  I have painted 9 full sized knights (I made a bit of a business out of commission knight production!) so moving to the 6 I have ready to go will be nice.  I never did a single unified color scheme.  I think this will work fine.  Yellow can be a headache but this is doable when broken up with reddish/orange and black.

Thanks Zak!

My Warden.  I went heavy on the orangish red.  The Valiant has a large amount of black.  I am looking to unify the models while still giving each a distinct look.

I don't collect/paint/play 40K (or 30K), but when I see those bulky fliers and mechs so nicely painted, I feel the urge to start...
