Quote Artoban: Mids is a walking knowledge base but he is too quiet 😺 (not at all. Enjoyed the conversation completely)

Gaagh!  What I meant to say was (not at all to talkative..  etc etc)

Does that sound somewhat plausible? Think of context lol

I’m quite upset that I missed this.  When are we doing this again?

I was a bit quieter than usual, but really was really enjoying listening & seeing everyone else and your hobby spaces & projects. I'd really like to do this again. Maybe pull in some of the other forum regulars too!

Sorry I had to bow out early. But our gardens have been neglected this year, and today was the one clear day this week to work on it. (And it was a pleasant day to get a lot done in the yard!)

For reference, this is what I was painting...

Almost finishing two Midlam Miniatures hobgoblins (as half-orcs/hob-orcs) and starting another one. Some base color + wash on my second batch of powrie from Caulronborn Miniatures.

And a pic of the old, unfinished project from the Treachery and Greed campaign that I mentioned. Skaven mercenary pikemen (er, pikeRATS). I'm really fired up to paint these after (or while...) I finish the current figures above, plus my final Old World Army Challenge entry in June. Let's see if I can keep focused...

I had a couple of those Midlam hobgoblins on my desk 023

Awaiting a touch of greenstuff - they're from the second set where I did some weapons swaps.

For the record 023 was the "Quiet Man" beavering away with his paintbrush whilst Padre, Artoban and GP never stopped rabbiting on all the time.  :biggriin:

GMing a Zoom game this weekend and next.  And a father that is dying.  His last tests are tomorrow, and the schedule for making various choices and decisions is being delayed, and might even need to postpone next weekend's game.

Sometimes life is moment to moment, but I will schedule another one relatively soon.

Ok folks ... I am setting up another Greet and Paint for Warhammer-Empire.

This is being set for this upcoming Saturday, June 20th, 10am EST, 3pm GMT, 7am PST.  The meeting is set to go for three hours, although you can even just pop in for a few minutes if you'd like.  Bring your paint, brushes, or whatever you're working on.  I'd serve coffee, but this is the internet!

And remember ... the way that the platform is set up, if there is cross talk, it makes it hard to understand, so it is best for one person at a time to chat.  Be kind and let anyone who attends participate.

If you plan to attend, send me a pm with email address, and I'll send along the meeting number and password on Saturday morning.

We're on British Summertime.

Plus the soccer season restarts tomorrow, and there is a full programme this weekend.
Brighton are playing Arsenal at 3.00pm live on TV - so I will join around 5pm.  :biggriin:

I will try to be there. I will also try to remember to confirm later in the week when I actually know whether I really can. If, of course, you are happy to have me there.

Folks ... important update > on Saturday June 20th the Greet & Paint will be at 10:30AM EST, not 10AM!

I have a timing issue for tomorrow morning that came up unexpectedly, and so I am delaying the start of the meeting by a half hour.

The session won't go into effect until 10:30am EST, 3:30pm GMT, 7:30am PST, 4:30pm CET

Those planning to attend ...

GP, Midaski, 023, PhilyT, Padre, Gankom, RealJuan.

Perhaps SKS.

Believe I have everyone's email address except for SKS (feel free to pm it to me), and will send email Saturday morning with sign up information for the session.

And remember one thing about this on line software is if more than one person is talking, then it can tend to confuse the software, so please be flexible and understanding with the conversation.  :icon_cool: :::cheers:::

My PC has had a meltdown - I think it is the graphics card but not sure - may be able to use an old tablet but apologies if I don't make it - have  a good time.
