Wondering if anyone has given a though to playing Warhammer in 10mm. I’m not talking about playing Warmaster here but actual Warhammer using Warmaster figures and models from the likes of pendraken miniatures.
I’m planning on giving it a go as I have some 10mm DBA and Epic scale greater daemons. ( and with a 10K point army of brets from pendraken minatures costing about £85 the capital outlay is low).
We plan to play some large battles at this scale and simply measure all ranges in CM instead of inches. Playing normal sized battles (Sub 3000pts) on 72 cm by 48cm boards. Larger battles will take place on a standerd 6 foot by 4 foot board with deployment zones only 12cm onto the table. Im hoping this would redress the cavalry balance as it will take 12 turns for the avarage infantry model to cross the table. A few of my friends have warmaster armies and we will be using 3rd ed rules.
Am I mad
or is this a cheep, fantastic and easy way of creating large battles
Anyone have any thoughts?
