How many places INSIDE the Empire do you have units from in your collection?

This question is only about places INSIDE the Empire ... places like Altdorf, Averland, Bognehofan, Carroburg, Drakenwald, Hochland, Marienburg, Middenheim, Middenland, Nordland, Nuln, Ostermark, Ostland, Reikland, Solland, Stirland, Talabecland, Talabheim, The Moot, Wissenland, etc.

Places like Araby, Bretonnia, Cathay, Estalia, Kislev, Nippon, The Border Princes, Tilea, etc., anything outside the Empire does not count for this question. And this does not include Chapters of Knights. Nor chaos, dwarf, elf, greenskin, lizard, ogre, skaven (which don't exist anyway), undead realms, etc., you might have living inside the Empire. Nor places that you're planning to have units from and don't yet. These are being saved for different "polls", thanks!

Also ... a secondary question ... what places do you have units from INSIDE the Empire?

NOTE: This poll has been left open so folks can change there answer as they grow or sell off their units.

I mostly have Averland.

However, I have other units that get used for multiple places like a merchant house in Marienburg (borrowed from my Matorean units), and my Westerland archers with Wissenland greatswords. So I am counting this as 3 currently.

Also, I have plans for other units inside the Empire. And I have units from outside the Empire, yet will save those for a different thread.

Painted: Stirland (incl. Sylvania), Talabecland, Talabheim. So voted three.

Mordheim: Hochland (could make up a small Detachment in Warhammer).

Unpainted: Middenheim.

Some Morr maniacs, flagellants and mercenaries intentionally portray colours from other provinces. And there are some Empire Dwarfs. Hard to say where these units as a whole come from.

Ohh this is a tricky one GP. I have at least a unit from every Imperial Province (including former), plus heroes from most major locations. But it's also all worked into my own homebrew setting my friends and I set our stuff in. So it gets a little complicated.

The majority of Imperial Units hail from either Middenheim or Hochland, with strong detachments from Altdorf, Reikland and Averland. Smaller mostly just units from the others. Mordheim especially got me to make at least a small adventuring band from every faction I could.

I counted my Marienburg Merchant House Army, and I cross purpose it with my Matroean army from the Border Princes.

I have units for 5 places, and that is not counting my Kislev army which is my largest.

Altdorf, Averland, Middenheim, Middenland, (plus the Cult of Ulric units) and The Moot.

I object. Marienburg is not INSIDE the Empire.

I have a big army of ZERO Empire units.

I have been considering painting a traitor Nordland regiment, who's defected and taken up as mercenaries for Marienburg. But even if I do that, they'll be former Nordland troops turned mercenary opportunists!

Well, Marienburg's independence depends on the timeframe and the perspective. Before 2429, it does not exist, and afterwards, it may exist de facto, but it does not exist de jure.

Ironsides - Nuln

Emperor Karl Franz, Kurt Helborg, Ludwig Schwarzhelm & Reiksguard knights - Reikland

Marius Leitdorf (likely to be accompanied by a couple of units eventually) - Averland

Teutogen Guard, Knights of the White Wolf, Mordheim warband and priests of Ulric incl Ar-Ulric (probs pick up Boris Todbringer at some stage too) - Middenheim/land

Lumpin Croop and assorted other little fellows from... - The Moot

Sooo 6 by my count, but plenty of other stuff from outside.

So far, none! My army was themed around the Border Princes but I’m planning to add some units from nearby provinces.
