Games Bumshop seem to have removed the EMpire Armoured Horse Sprues from their web store....

I need 5 horses ,

Now for a nasty update ,

My slightly taking advantage of the O & G rules lol, 3K pts can include 12 Spear Chukkas,

Here is my Artillery for my 3K army

I'm planning a nasty tactic,

basically nuke the enemy with my artillery , and have a Night Goblin dual train 12*5 blocks , either side of a unit fo 6 trolls, then inside behind the trolls, I have an orc BSB and Orc big boss as general , for the LD and BSB bubble,

it's a cheap trick , the Night Gobbos with nets will be steadfast and LD 8 , and grind down anyone with nets lol

then i'm working on a dirty 30 man unit of squig hoppers , and spider riders,

probably gonna also use a 40 man horde 8*5 train of savage orcs with spears , which get frenzied 2 attacks front row and 2 further rows, = 21 attacks dished out, 1st round choppas,

I recon Orcs are made for trains of 5 wide

I have like 5 spare pistolier riders I believe if those would do... but not the armored knight riders....

They've been off the site for a long time. I was after some a while back to fill out a unit. Knightly Orders are still available, but frequently go temporarily out of stock. Those horses should have been replaced ten years ago though.

I would have thought they'd be pretty easy to find on eBay though

I'm using the blood letter Glaze by GW as a wash on the squigs ,

it makes them look radioactive almost lol

Are they the resin ones GW still sell?

The 4 on the outside look like the 2003 Sculpts and the one in the middle looks like 4th Ed. I wonder why they only made one of the 4th Ed Hoppers into resin and all the 2003 ones.

The 4th Ed Hoppers are best in my opinion simply because of the Squigs, the 4th Ed Squigs look a lot more malevolent, I think it's the eyes and facial expressions that are lost in the 2003 ones which are a bit bland looking.

Anyway look forward to seeing more

Has anyone got a spare set of the normal upgrade and the command one?
