the swirly shield+armor look awesome!

I would drop the red cape. that's one color too far for my taste. make it something neutral.

The shield and armour looks great! I think having the red cloak makes it garish.

Ive undercoated all 20 with a yellow wash paint, so it only takes 2 hours per man after that

I cant drop the red !

I am committing to a unit of at least 20 in this scheme potentially,

when i paint my models I more often then not use the same colour palet.

I notice that this chaos warrior looks like a dedicated follower of fashion colour wise. I would not use such a diverse colour palet on such a dark and sinister model as a warrior of chaos.

Youre skills as a speed painter with a keen eye for quality is again proven with this model, but as written, I would recommend a darker colour palet with lots of dark colours.

It's quite a modern paint job with a slightly retro colour scheme, I really like it.

And actually, it reminds me of my Space Marines!

So go on then - is the free hand "simply" pale swirls on the armour and dark swirls on the shield, perhaps toned in with a final wash, or what? I'd like to try it out on something.

The swirls were a bit bad, my brush was failing me ,

i got some new detail brushes this morning , so the 2nd warrior will be an improved version

Regarding dark colours comments, i wat these to be Tzeeeeeecnthchch of however u sepll it !

I want the whole unit looking bright and magical, after all they get the 6+ ward save from a magical source

He has done some dragon ogres a few pages ago.
I have to say though, I don't like them very much. Sorry chumley! The chaos warriors are lovely though.

plus two 90's old style metal chaos chariots ,

probably gonna mod the crew to carry shields
