Opening turn, I rolled 5 Misfires in a row with my HBVG's ???????

Am I right that is a 1 in 7776 chance?

Help me to explain how this could happen?!!

Depends on what you mean by misfire. If you mean you rolled a single misfire on the three dice for each HBVG, then no, the odds are a bit better as you are actually rolling three dice for each HBVG, not just one so the odds of getting a single misfire on three dice is better than getting single misfire on one roll. If you were talking about them misfires on all three dice, then it is actually much lower odds of getting 5 misfires. If you had been talking about firing Great Cannons, then yes, your probability of five misfires is 1 in 7776 chances.

It was as follows,

1st HBVG.

Roll 1 = 6 Shots
Roll2 = Misfire (re rolled by engineer for 3rd role.)
Roll3 = Misfire (the re roll).
Roll 4 (3rd barrel) = Misfire.

Black Powder roll of 1 = remove HBVG1.

2nd HBVG

Roll 1 = Misfire (re rolled by engineer for 2nd role.)
Roll 2 = Misfire (the re roll)
Roll 3 = can't recall I think 6 Shots
Roll 4 (3rd final barrel) = can't recall maybe also 6.

Result halved for shots...

The dice gods can be fickle. It's like when your 5 reiksguard are holding up a unit for an awesome flank charge next turn. All you need to do is make 1 2+ save from 5 wounds, and you roll 5 1's :(

My dear friend, you need hammer (which is not artillery), you have anvil but not hammer, artillery is good but there is not enough  strength or toughness, so strong unit of knights with grandmaster is good also, try it  :engel:

Guys if u r reading this, can I suggest you buy the 1985 Paladin Sculpts?

This one I just painted has so much character and detail, it's far better than new plastic or resins....

I have two of them! Though one is part of a unit filler for my beasts and the other badly needs stripping...

Ooo, I need something like that -- made my own awhile back but this looks better. Of course, I do need to get a new camera....
