They are rubbish, but you sure know how to polish up a turd.  I assume the metal chastity belts are to keep them from procreating and creating any shite looking offspring.  Love the war paint.

Is the cow skull metal? Looks very dark for bleached bone. Good job on a soft sculpt.
There are 40 different shades of black, so many fortresses and ways to attack.

So why you complaining!

Who wouldn't want a metal cow head on a stick?

Is that the plastic Talisman wizard? He looks good!

I don't think those unreleased Flagellants are all that terrible. They are no worse than the 4th ed Flagellants in my opinion.

Apart from the guy with the massive axe the other are quite nice and with a good paint job look pretty good  :::cheers::: although I'm probably in the minority for liking them  :icon_razz:

To be fair the Marauder 87' metal crazies are terrible models IMO, apart from one of them

Hello Chumley. Nice painting blog.
I would like to ask you a question. You buy a lot of things from Ebay, how do you know you are not buying a cheap recast? What precautions do you take?
Thanks!

Dear Machete,

I have a circle of collectors I am In e mail dialogue with who I have met through forums or e bay etc.

I also if it's a valuable item, ask the buyer how long they have had the mini ...

I have 60 ish saved searches, so if I see a cast coming up time and time again, it may pose risk..

I don't believe there are many recasts out there.

Also I am paint stripping large swathes of OOP models,

So I doubt a re cast would arrive to me painted

I think now its easy to do resin your more likely to get moody forge world figures than recast metal oop minis on the fact people are lazy and are going to do something easy to produce and make money from.

How did you know they were re cast?

Was it obvious when they arrived in the post and you could see them?

Chumley,
Love the way the armor detail turned out, you do true justice to even the most questionable sculpts.  I look forward to your updates here.
