That last one looks like the liche from the 'skeleton war machines' box, but with a different head.

I haven't really studied the other factions , bar from my interest when I was 10/11 years old,

I had a gap from 1991-2011 LOL

Maybe it is a cheeky head swap , never released officially !

I have secured almost every Empire human unreleased model now, I've been saving them for this part of the PLOG,

Nice spot, the base looks like Morbius the Liche with a few minor changes, the staff top, head and accessories. It probably happened quite a bit. Different designs get pulled from one set into another especially with unreleased and released stuff.

Intrigue !  ::heretic::

Well how many figures have you got that are quite close?
There's that knight 'fighter' where there are three slightly different versions:

Nos:  6,   11,  and   20 for example.

It must have been an easy option to take an existing figure, add a greenstuff beard and hair and bingo you have a new figure ........ which you decide not to release.   :engel:

Of course it could have been the other way round - someone sculpted your unreleased wizard, and then the boss said; "No!"
Later it was reworked to a necromancer.

well, that's not a real new, because Citadel often recycled bodys for different miniatures or variants.
Here are three examples, but I can show a lot more if you are interested.
(Sorry for the low quality of the pics)

1) Unreleased Wizard and Tellark Spellrender:

2) Gustavus Ravenmage and Adonius the Haughty:

3) preslotta Fox Priest, sorceress Jenny Spaewife and wizard Drillwear:

I actually like that figure.  Nice!!!!

Yep it's actually very detailed, lovely to paint.

The shoulder armour pads are also unique and well crafted.

Very rare for some reason, - I think that other models in the TOM launch were also released later as general release fighters or halflings, but Lord and Ldy McDeath only saw 1985 release, hence there are not many which survive now.

Has any1 else got one?

It's hard to find any painted examples online.  :::cheers:::

yep! it was sold last week with the lady too.
I think miniatures from the scenarios are very interesting because they look different and have more personality

No, they both run until the end of the auction, I've followed them because I was curious to see the final price.
Here they are:

I've seen them on eBay a couple of times this month.

I think one went for about £50? I got a gut feeling it might be Chumley?

Just noticed their body is recycled from the most popular Norri Skullspearer wizard  :icon_cool:
