Sorry mate, about 20 Wizards!

GW and Marauder , 1985/7 , mostly now showing on CCM WIKI unreleased Empire Page.

Some really insane ones, like a cowboy Wizard.

Guys and Gals, out of the entire 1985/7/8 marauder / GW villagers and townsfolk and Traveling Players I only have 9 models left uncollected!

I'm getting close to the end now all!

Even the unreleased models , I am now owning the majority, and also some yet to be added to CCM.

LOL

What happens when I reach the end#/?

Start collecting the complete Man O' War range. That should be relatively challenging.
I got my affordable healthcare. Now I need affordable miniatures.

That one comes from an old ebay sale (approssimatively 2007-2009).
There should also be a head variant (with closed mouth) that is the one used for the quest book and the game box:

Could you expand on that comment? Is not the painted one in the centre (metal Heroquest prototype) the same figure as the unpainted one on the right?

I noticed that while the body is the same, the face seems different: the unpainted version is open mouth and showing teeth (and in my opinion a bit zombie-ish or scared), the painted version is looking better, with a squared chin, fierce eyes and looks more proud like a hero.

I don't think it's only a matter of camera angle or paint ability, so I guess the metal version first came out this way but didn't embody the hero essence perfectly so the head was later resculpted. But that's just my thought, of course.

Mmmm - I'm not convinced but I see your point. This on the other hand definitely is different:

Yup, this one is definitely different. Still not convinced the other two are different though.

To hear this from someone who embraces the "expensive and time-consuming" side of a hobby as crazychuffinmental as you do, this is a warning to be taken seriously. I sincerely hope Chumley Jr comes to understand the importance and value of the Chumley legacy - not least for insurance purposes :)
