Old joke.
They came out the same time as the Archers which were £15
The Archer kit made 10 figures and had 90+ pieces.

The Greatswords also made 10 figures and had 60+ pieces and cost £25 hence the new name.

Wrong, they are called like this, because Mr.chumley only used OOP models, which are darn expensive on ebay, so he had to cash out on them heavily.

Goldswords are goldswords, whether the (expensive) 8th ed models I have or the (super expensive) OOP models Chummers has painted up. The phrase exists independently of this thread.

Nice, it's the old lead KF

I have the old KF and no Death Claw and always wondered what he would look like on a horse in case he looked too big because of his head/plumage but he looks pretty good on a horse. Might give that a go myself but on a generals horse as I have one spare

I like the old Karl-Franz model. But I preferred the second version where they gave him a better version of Ghal-Maraz or Runefang option.
This version has the awful chunky lump of a hammer - same as on the griffon for the old war altar, but at least on the war altar it doesn't look too heavy for a human to even lift, let alone one handed
