I see; what I don't understand is why so many models were unreleased back then.  :? :? :? Most of the unreleased stuff you've shown us is stuff I might've bought for various reasons....

Remember I am new to this , I decided a few years ago I wanted a meditative hobby , and remembering my childhood fondness for 40K I went to the GW store, bought the Knights box, painted them, looked online and found We.com, and posted them, lol

then I thought the same as you, how come there are these ultra rare unreleased models, and how do I get me some !

next thing my plog is at almost 500K hits and I am addicted lol

Gamezone makes a standard bearer with Morian helmet that would fit right in. Can't think of an officer or musician. Of course Shieldwolf has an entire army of Estalions going to kickstarter next month and Warlord has some coming out soon from the old Arsenal line.

These guys, they were bought out by Warlord about a year ago and are now about the be released.

@TheRedGraf: How exactly do those guys work? Are they multi-part models? And how are they based? Do they have a round thing that's glued into a recessed base? Or something more like a GW "slotta" tab?

The Gamezone figure is exactly like GW. They are a very conscious attempt to copy the GW look and they are very much like a GW metal figure down to the slotta base. I believe that this figure has a separate banner arm.

I have less experience with the Arsenal figures but I suspect that they are a single piece metal figure. I imagine that Warlord has reworked them a bit to fit into their ranges. The picture I showed is from before they were bought out.

Model in the middle is Pirazzo with a sculpted collar.  Pirazzo is a veteran of a long campaign in lustria and has torn clothes and no collar, so you have to fix the clothes and sculpt a collar to make him fit neatly

ideas for your banner bearer, musician?



This is a conversion of the metal (duh) greatsword champion.
head chopped of an Estalian, Feather brush is from the 6th ed. plastic sergeants/captain kit, new arm is the armoured arm in the mordheim kit.




Maybe there is something that you might find usefull or maybe it will inspire.  :happy:
