9th edition however is much better.

It looks excellent!

Proper use of skulls also. Even GW must agree.

The reds could perhaps be highlighted more. I don't know if it's the photos or the painting, but I think the reds dominating this army seem a bit flat at times. The hue of the red is rather dark, and it makes the models often sort of top-heavy. That could be OK for helmets, but the plumes at least should look like they weigh nothing. IMHO.

Switched around some and painted more Spears..Can make 3*30 now , lovely.

90 Archer shots every single shooting round,

Pretty hard nut to crack especially if I flank them on lefta nd riight with something more choppy, !

You should write a battle report where Empire beats those High Elves.

Writing is enough, you don't need to play the actual game.

My 40 Greatswords advanced under 90 Sea Guards firing 3 times and lost 20 % of their numbers before cleaving the elevs a new a hole and routing them all,

I dont believe thats how this forum software works. Bugman has recently lookee into alternatives. Photobucket is normally fairly stable though.
