Heard today that an FAQ from GW has been released that has addressed some of the issues they saw with the current Dark Eldar army rules. Apparently the Drukhari were winning quite a high percentage of tourneys, and GW decided to do some rebalancing, so to speak. So if you're a player of such an army there have been changes.

The Dark Eldar win rates were crazy. Datas a little tough to come by because of the pandemic but I was seeing reports saying they were winning 74% of all tournament games. And that was regardless of player skill. Relatively average folks with a relatively average Dark Eldar army were beating out some of the best players of other armies.

Itll be interesting to see if the FAQ changes anything.

Rumor is that it is nerfing them hard in at least four areas, and one of them they just say that something one unit could do before, they just can't do anymore, so that seems different than the usual updates for armies. I don't have an interest in Dark Eldar, and the only game I ever played against such an army of them, years ago, the guy cheated when I was defeating him with Orks. It is not a highly seen army in local stores around here.

There might be some new Ork Boyz coming soon.

There's a picture on the back of the new Cadian box showing Orks that don't look like the Beast Snaggas nor the current Ork Boyz set. Their legs aren't in the squatting position of the previous Ork Boyz, as well as being Shoota Boyz with left handed holds on the shootas.

I did say might, and specifically because my source was youtube, and it could be a fake picture because what was shown was blurry. I saw it reported twice, although that doesn't mean the two folks weren't both reporting something that wasn't incorrect. Regardless, the supposed picture isn't being reported as being on the front side of the box.

And by the way, my mistook a picture with Cadians as being on the new Cadian box, and actually it is supposably a picture with Cadians on the new Ghaunt's Ghost box instead.

Evidently GW confirmed that new ork boyz are on the way.

Suspect cost will be in the $45 range like the Cadians with the new sprue, although wondering if that means we'll get an extra sprue in there as well

The preview of whats going on pre order sale next week. They've been doing a kinda weird thing to build hype where a box is fully revealed and is available for preorder a week before it actually hits stores. its also showcased a week before preorder, but they don't tell you cost. Just a full look at whats in the box.

They did kind of similar with the Sisters of Battle. Put out a big army box, and then a few months later released all the stuff individually. Rumours on the grape vine suggest they don't intend to wait as long as they did for SoB before putting individual things out, but who knows! I'm in a weird place where all the rumours I heard about Imperial Guard are coming true, but timeline and how they come out are all over the place.
