MALUS GOTHEUS THE ORCSLAYER
High Priest of Ulric

Malus Gotheus The Orcslayer is a Warrior Priest Of Ulric. He can be taken as a Lord choice, but will use up one of your Hero choices as well. Taking Malus counts as taking both a Lord and Hero. He must be fielded exactly as presented here and no extra equipment or magic items can be bought for him as well.

Points: 420
Weapons: Runic Hammer
Armour: Armour of Tarnus,

MAGIC ARMOUR

Armour of Tarnus
Counts as light armour (armour save 6+), which can be combined with other equipment normally. If the wearer fails his armour save, he may make a 5+ Ward save. Wizards can wear this armour and cast spells.

MAGIC WEAPONS

Runic Hammer of Karak-Varn
Due to the age of this weapon, once given by the Dwarf King Stromni Redbeard of Karak-Varn, this weapon is breaking one rule of the rules for runic weapons. Runesmiths have worked hard on it for many years, and Malus got it of his father.
The weapon carries four Runes; the Rune of Fury (+1 Attack), the Rune of Cleaving (+1 Strength),
the Rune of Striking (+1 Weapon Skill) and the Rune of Speed (+1 Iniative). When he wields the Hammer this means he has 7 WS, 5 S, 9 I and 5 A. May the Dwarfen Runesmiths be praised!

SPECIAL RULES

Aura of Blessing Ulric
Due to his life, supremely devoted to Ulric, Ulric once sent him a blessing, packed in a thunderstorm, which has never been worse, until the day of today. Malus was stroke by the lighting seven times and survived. Now, some people say they see a flashing, blinding gold Aura around Malus. If it is true, no one knows, but the lightning gave him supernatural protection anyway, and confers Malus with +1 Ward save.
This means Malus has a 4+ Ward Save in battle.

Hate Orcs
Because half of his family was murdered by Orcish hands, Malus’ primary goal then is to kill all the Orcs coming in his line of sight. Cause of this, Malus and the unit he is with have implacable hatred against Orcs.

Ulric’s Powers
Once Ulric came to Malus and said he was such an exceptional and devoted Priest, he could have some of the powers of the God himself! Therefore, he is able cast the Ulric Prayers with a Power Level of 5, instead of the normal Power Level of 3. Cause of this, Malus counts as a Wizard, and cannot wear normal armour and cast spells.

i think this character is a bit too powerful especially for a high priest of Ulric. I think he is too good in combat and his Leadership and initiative are extremely elvish. Sorr but this guy is too hard! especially with that weapon. Saying this he does take up a lord and a hero slot and if your opponent agrees and has seen the rules then all is good.

I'd also change the name, because he might get confused with Malus Darkblade, a dark elf special character.

He isn't thát hard, have you seen his saves? He has an 6+ AS and an 4+ WS. He also has only 3 wounds. If you have a War Machine like a Stone Thrower or the strong Bolt of a Bolt Thrower hit him, he hasn't much of a chance.

Still the 10 Ld is too high, the only human with such Ld value is Karl Franz and I think thats pretty sensible
