You pulled off the conversion beautifully.

That's one great big lot of Flagellants, liking the big bell and the guy on the cross. What's the little cart having on ?
Empire troops coming on a treat, are they all newly painted, or did you already have some between you. Not even going to comment on Magnus still green with envy. :icon_mrgreen:

Thank you guys. I little divertimento...  :icon_lol:

Within 10 days I will finish the unit and you'll see what the cart carries... somekind of children of chaos; not sure a skaven, a mutant human or something like this. And he (or it) will be imprisoned. The cart you wee is the lower part of a mobil jail! jejeje (BUT, I have to admit, it's not an original idea; I take it form the net)

And yes. It's a treat. All Empire is newly painted. I began to paiting it a year ago. But we are two guys paiting, easy to distinguish: he paint his bases in black; I do it in brown. If you visit the blog, tags "Roger" and "Pep" will show you the models of each one.

Two hours ago I just finished the War Altar of Sigmar with its 20 flagellants pulling it. As soon as I can pics will be shown.

Magnus had a friend.
That friend, had other friends too.
And acolytes.
And a mastodontic War Altar of Sigmar.

And, one day, all together took they arms and weapons and went to war. Happily. Like a true religious fanatics they were.

Now is closer to the illustration!

Hope you like it.

What a great rendition of the painting. That's probably the largest war alter I have seen. Makes mine look like a kiddy car. Really beautiful Rogers  and that flaggie to the left of the one with the book looks like an old boss of mine 😸

I demand a scenic picture with a couple of hundred of your painted models accompanying the altar!

Seriously heavy stuff.  :eusa_clap:

That looks awesome. Almost exactly how it should look. The details and matching are marvellous.
Love the relics under the griffon. Love the fur skin on the floor. I never noticed the globe before - good pickup! It is painted beautifully and so are the models. So good!

My only, very minor pieces that i noticed, that didn't 100% match, were not enough braziers! But the ones you have are painted well. And the golden heads on the wheel axles, rather than spikes. So minor.

I have always wanted to do one of these. Now i give up. I will never be able to do it that well.

Your demand will be granted soon. Next week, I hope.

That skin is from ogre's cannon of titans, a really nice bit.
You are right with braziers. I think it was Steveb who proposed to use the fire head of flagellants sprue for braziers... I'm still thinking about that. It's a matter of time. I have so much models to paint!
And please, Warlord, try to do your own altar! An then show it to us. That is the purpose of that post: encourage you all to make this kind of projects. Come on!

Lovely work but now I can't help but think of the orrery doubling as the ball holder for bingo night at the local Sigmarite church.

38cm! (15")

Thanks guys! The rest of flagellants are still in the painting board. I'm trying to finish them as quick as I can, but this week I also have to paint some stuff on request.
