Good stuff! The knights are the most awesome unit but also the warriors look pretty bad ass.

Hey colleagues!

Too much time since the last update on this forum. But we have been working hard.
Here some pics of what about we have been working on.

On the other hand, this week we've ask for the second, the last and the largest order to Tabletop World. This means we want to build a city that make true the dreams of many hobby enthusiasts. But Kislev will only be placed on one of the six tables we are planning.

First of all, here you can see the final sketch of the gameboard: 7.2 m x 1.8 m. On one side settles the capital of Kislev; on the other, a cliff. Both elements, notably high, will help to create a proper atmosphere that allows us to sink into fantasy world of Warhammer... even there will be 6m between them!

To represent the landscape of Kislev we have been collecting images from internet as inspiration for the natural elements: soil class, grass color, trees types...

And also for the city itself.

And finally, this is a composition on the board. The second image is ficticious. Is a creation from phtotoshop. As I said before, we still haven't all these building.

What landscape do prefer? Any suggestion?
I like the most the last photo with the river and the picture with dark clouds over a town.

I love the top picture of the countryside, and the picture of the city with the large red awnings! :icon_biggrin: :icon_cool:

Also the idea of having a cliff side and city side of height is excellent! :eusa_clap: :::cheers:::

And where are all those buildings coming from :icon_question:

The city you've laid out is very impressive, good terrain adds an extra level to gameplay.

Well, in fact, we have 4 buildings from Tabletop World and 2 from GW, at this very moment. The trick I made is to take a photo in the same angle for each building group. Later I cut each building group to paste them on the original photo (the upper one).

We just done a huge order to Tabletop World this week to create the city without photoshop (hehehe...). And the buildings we 've ordered are higher and bigger than ones you see in that picture.

Dear colleagues,

my friends and I have decided to move the game to the beginning of 2017. No time enough to paint all models, and we prefer to make the game correctly before doing it quicker but worst.

But we are still painting a lot, I can assure that.

Special mention for a model I recently achieved: the original Marienburg Landship Class from Forge World.

Ah... I forgot it... there will be TWO Chaos War Mammoths on the Asavar Kul side.

The War Altar reminds me of a sand crawler, maybe you could convert some dark angel watches into jawas.

The huge Ostermark infantry units are just awesome. Not my favourite uniforms though. But damn they are impressive!

I know this is heresy but I still like the most of the Chaos units. 20 knights is just !!!   ::heretic::

Glad to see this is moving ahead at a steady pace! Is that 'paintometer' on the blog accurate? Cause it sure looks like you got a lot to do still. The landship is bigger than I thought...and I like how it gets dwarfed by your war altar. Your plans for the board and the city are awesome. Looking forward to see this progress.

here is a triple clap for motivation:  :eusa_clap: :eusa_clap: :eusa_clap:
