I've only picked up the Van Saar set so far but I have to say I find most of the new Necromunda stuff (both GW & Forgeworld) really quite cool.

I've already got my sights set on a few more of the kits for some Imperial Guard conversions and hoping for plenty more good stuff to come. The new Delaque guys are really pretty creepy - old Delaque used to look like burly bald guys in trenchcoats, these new guys look more like Hellraiser! Really quite unsettling if you stare at them a little too long... Van Saar and Orlock are cool, Escher are very Harley-Quinn (but then again they always were), I've seen a lot of conversions with the Cawdor gang into Empire and Bretonnians, Goliaths don't interest me, Enforcers are pseudo space marines but do offer a lot of potential for expansion of my Guard.

The only downside I find with them and some of the other new GW sets I've had recently is the fixed poses. I like that they are quite dynamic and interesting but when you get a set of 10 figures you really only get 2x 5 poses and it's only the changes in head and equipment that sets the figures apart once built. Necromunda isn't too bad for this given that you have lots of options for weapons but the other set I had was the new Sisters of Battle and again, they basically came as a set of 10 fixed poses with maybe 2-3 options for different gear for each - they were even designed to the point where arm sockets would only fit into certain bodies so not a lot of scope for customization unless you get a bit creative.

I like the scenery!  :icon_biggrin:

And not sure who the new warband is (are they called "warband" in Necromunda?), yet I kind of like it.  :icon_cool: :::cheers:::

Usually called Gangs but warband generally works fine anyway.

I'm also a big fan of the scenery.

New Van Saar models shown in the preview today.

These units represent the two ends of the experience scale in the Van Saar gang. Archeoteks have mastered the most potent of the clan’s technology over many years. Meanwhile, Neoteks are young hotheads, flying around on their grav-cutters, trying to avoid the low-hanging dangers of the underhive. Obviously, members of other gangs just shake their fists and mutter about the “juves these days”.

Along with the book, the Delaque are also getting some new fighters for their gangs that really embody their mysterious and unusual manners.

The Nacht-Ghul are new Delaque Champions – assassins and saboteurs without peer. If you need someone ‘disappeared’ or want an enemy factory to stop producing inexplicably, this is who you should call.

New Necromunda starter set was released on Saturday for "pre-order" ... Escher vs. Delaque with new, yet relatively limited, hive scenery, and at $150USD.

With Escher being in the $290 starter set (still being sold currently), perhaps that is a popular gang.

What is GW's obsession with unnecessary doodads?!
Now go! Ride towards the sun atop these noble steeds
You're our spandex heroes, now fullfil your destinies
And so we turned and rode beyond the castle walls
with shiny codpiece armour that doth cradle our chivalrous balls

For someone to give a viewpoint on this, we'll need more than this because as is it gives us little to no idea what such is in reference.

I assume all the bits and bobs that can clutter up new models. I think part of it is trying to make the model look super cool and hip! But also to drastically cut down on recasters and piraters. Those things are hard to recreate and print in a way that looks well. Takes advanced rigs and printers.

Couple of new releases on the way for Necromunda;

House Greim Krieg Mester...

...and his Jagerkin (bodyguard)

I can already see the various 40K uses and conversions for this bloke, I know I'm certainly planning one!

IG Commander, Commissar, Advisor, Inquisitor etc. etc. the list goes on.

Not announced yet whether these are going to be plastics or Forgeworld releases but my first impression says plastic.

I'm a HUGE fan of both. Easily going to get picked either for my rogue trader crew, to be a new rogue trader, or for Inq. I believe they'll be plastc, because they seem to be in the vein of the other hanger ons and hires they've been doing recently. I believe all those are plastic.

I will say I chuckled at Krieg Master, who might just end up in charge of my future Krieg Kill Team at some point. And yet the Kriegs arent related, except for the bit where they are.

Interesting left foot on one, while the other seems to have been painted with left blind eye.

No one was talking about the big Necromunda reveal so I figured I'd drop some stuff.

New coming starter set is Orloks facing off against the new Ash Waste Nomads.

Well I'd resisted Necromunda for quite some time.  Picked up a box of figures one time on sale somewhere, but never to use for Necromunda.  However,  that set is particularly interesting looking, and those Orlocks might actually go with the set I have, although will  need to dig the box out to check.

Regardless, that set of scenery looks like it could be worth buying the set!  Plus I like the Waste Nomads too. :icon_cool:

Thanks for posting! :::cheers:::

Squats squad of engineers is coming to Necromunda ... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gp1jm-QgZgY

And not to be confused with the League of Votann!  They are saying the two groupings are different in the fluff.

At Huzzah! 2022 ... there were two tables of Necromunda happening in the Bolt Action room.  I saw games running on these on Friday and Saturday.  It was cool to see folks playing this game. :::cheers:::
