This is a video from originally a live, hour and a half recording, and after an hour, the guy is seeking out the camera on a rocky hill that is a live feed being provided by Iceland to view the approach of the lava towards the ocean, although above where the parking lot is located ...

... the part where he look s back towards the lava flow from the postiion of the live feed camera gives quite the perspective of what the valley looks like and how high the mountains are near by.

It probably isn't long before the lava reaches the highway, and keeps it from being driven on through the area. Folks will eventually need to come from one way or the other to hike and explore and see the volcano with its activity.

The reporter that is covering the volcanic eruption in Iceland took the eastern trail and then went north of the volcano to show these eprspectives of the area ... quite impressive ...
