Has anyone looked at Conquest?
« on: December 21, 2021, 10:13:46 AM »
The Conquest - Last Argument of Kings game (from Cyprus!) has gotten some buzz here and there on the net. Looking at it, it isn't for me so far - none of the factions appeal to me, even the new one coming out in 2022.

However, what is people's experience from playing it? It has some 8th levels of random here and there, and some ways to mitigate randomness, but is it enough? Has anybody here tried it?

I've only looked at the starter box, thinking if and how I could use the models in other games.

Looks like that game didn't fly at all over where I live. Nobody seems to play it. Only seen one guy painting the figures and keeping them on their bases. Maybe they can be used in ASoIaF?

Good question.  Is that a supplement for Black Powder?  Not familiar with it currently here.

There doesn't seem to be much traction here either, so far.

It is a rank and flank unit wargame with alternate activation of units and no deployment - units arrive from table edges.
