Eurobash 2023!!! (and further!)

So after an extended period of no Bash, the 13th edition is now over!

On the last day we discussed how to proceed with the next editions and there was a consensus to keep the Ascension day weekend as a fixed Thursday to Saturday gaming days. Wednesday afternoon / evening willl be the incoming traveling day, Sunday the outgoing traveling day. Also 14:00 CET as a maximum end time to get out :)

Arrival on wednesday afternoon/evening May 17th

Friday 19th of May
Saturday 20th of May

Leaving day Sunday 21th of May

ALSO The idea is to organize 2 big game events where all(most) Eurobashers can participate in! Keep checking this post/thread for updates on this
This will be announced way ahead of time so everyone has enough time to prepare

Possible ideas on the table at the moment:

1. Frostgrave, starting fresh with warbands this edition, thus keeping them going through future bashes

2. Gaslands

3. Warhammer Rennaissance / New Warhammer Fantasy? (rumored coming out end this year?)

I'm likely to be there but not arriving until Saturday. It'll depend on things at work.   My question would be what would happen to the frostgrave warbands in that case.

Reactionary question, why do you work on Ascension day? And you know already WAAAAYYYYY in advance that you need to take time off for it on the Friday  :happy:

If we would play Frostgrave then first we would probably have multiple battles going on as the max on a table is 4 to keep it fun. So there might still be openings somewhere to play, also the warbands are way better balanced nowadays in 2nd ed, that you can easily step in with a fresh warband eventhough your opponents have had a few games done already.

I'm a teacher so my holidays are my holidays.  I will attempt but this year the request was refused.   It is also quite close to the end of our school year and state exams.

We did discuss this, 3 is the max. Especially since the pregnancy was somewhat more dificult. She was infected with a virus that can cause defects to the foetus, had a few difficult discussions… all well though. But we both do not want those discussions again. So, I had a vasectomy done. Three it is!

I'm going to apply for a passport very soon.  Not just for this event, and it won't likely get approved in time for this year anyway.  I have lots of interests in getting to various places outside the U.S., and hope to make it to your event eventually.
