Dealing with 7th ed Lizardmen

Fellow Commanders, how do you deal with mentioned reptiles?
Slann in Temple Guard unit gives me a headache so is a Skink Priest on Ancient Stegadon.

I cannot rely on artillery only, as Engine of the Gods gives them ward save.

My friend plays with 7th ed Lizards Armybook, I play with 6th or 7th ed Empire.We mix editions to be precise - we use 6th rulebook with armybooks of our choice - 6th or 7th.
