Bretonnia and Tomb Kings being the initial armies released, and it's looking like Orcs & Goblins will be third ...

... after those will the next army release be ... Dwarfs, Empire, High Elfs, Wood Elfs, Beastmen, or Warriors of Chaos ... and what about Cathay & Kislev

Why they picked those two for the starter set(s), I'll never know, Empire civil war, Empire vs. Chaos or ye olde Empire vs. Orcs would have made more sense, but what do I know....
If they're not even going to officially support long standing traditional armies like Dark Elves, Undead (VCs) or Skaven, why would there be separate armies for Kislev or far, far away Cathay ?

My sense  is that Brets & Tomb Kings fit their fluff goals for the Border Prince area, gave opportunities for updating the Brets who hadn't gotten an army book towards the end of the old WFB editions, and Tomb Kings gives an undead force with use of their newest models that were released that owns an area of the map so to speak as well.

I think they are further away, but they've been open about the fact both Cathay and Kislev are getting SOMETHING at some point. They made a BIG deal about the fact they were working closely with the total war people for all the concept art to match the Old World. So something is happening.

Yep, suspect Cathay & Kislev are a bit further out, even suspect them being after all the Forces of Fantasy and Ravening Hordes are completed.

Empire would be quite the release of old and perhaps new miniatures, so not sure if it would happen right after O&G or not.

With only 2 Ravening Horde armies remaining for release, I think it will be another Forces of Fantasy army, so probably Dwarfs, Empire High Elfs, or Wood Elfs.

So far ... 3 folks have voted for Dwarfs and 2 for Empire.

I can see the logic in it being Dwarfs or Empire, since both were featured in precious edition starter boxes.  Those being Dwarfs vs Gobs in 7th, and Empire vs. Orcs in 6th.

I'd bet they try and alternate between the forces of fantasy and the ravening hordes.  Gobbos are next, so either Elves, Dwarves, or Empire.

Which one is most likely to get them more $$$, that's the real question.  I feel like they have a bunch of humans for their AoS line, but no High Elves, and I'm sure they'd love to sell more dragons and big stuff over infantry.
