Back to Base-ics

A question of bases:

Does anyone know of 3rd party 30x60 bases with the slots for Empire horses?

My usual source (wargamebaseworld) doesn't cater for the slots. And I can't justify nearly $2 per base especially when they're coming from the UK and I'll get reamed on postage as well.
Don't hug me I'm British, we only show affection to dogs and horses.

Well I got mine from China so they sure are cheap, but no slottas and sometimes, one in a 20 batch will be burnt or deformed.

I bought adapters from greenstuffworld since most of the cavalry i have is glued in the slots. They are ~3.6€ for 10, not great but I've seen worse

warbases.co.uk do a variety of MDF individual slot bases. Looks like 16 x 60x30mm cost about £2.40.

If you don't want to rebase figures I've got a few of their MDF conversion movement trays for both cavalry and infantry. If you get the 3mm top layer they're just the right height for GW's plastic ones. A 5x1 tray for cavalry in £1.70 inc UK VAT, £1.42 without.

White dragon.
The slots are there, but need cutting out (which is fairly easy).

I just ordered some from The MiniWargaming Forge

https://miniwargamingforge.com/

They can sell you the trays (which is what I bought) but they can also sell you STL's that you can print yourself, it looks like.

I just bought some bases off Etsy from MidgardPP.
They should arrive in 2 weeks - will let you know how they go.
Fairly cheap - 200 30x30 bases and 100 30x60 bases plus postage and GST for $140.

I plan to rebase my Orcs and Chaos, and use those 25x25 bases for my previously 20x20 bases.
