The Final Muster - rounding out the Campaign Team
« on: November 15, 2004, 02:44:13 PM »
Hello all!

With the "who-where-when" poll complete, it is time to let our Campaign Team withdraw behind closed doors and prepare many a pleasant surprise for when we go live in February. Before we do so I want to make sure we have all the people lined up. I'm copying information from the recruitment thread. We've had a good many applications for all of our Specialist teams (even for the Engineers - yay!) so I'm not including most of the "if necessary" applications. Instead, these will be moved to the Free Company and called upon as necessary. The smaller we keep the actual Campaign Team, the more people will be able to enjoy the campaign with all of its twists and surprises as the plot unfolds!

Here's the team roster - I'll leave it up for a few days so you can make sure you're on the Campaign Team if you want to be there. I'll then submit this list to Grutch so he can configure a hidden forum for the team.

- Campaign Grand Master

General Helstrom

- Engineers

Lady Avalon
Calvin
PygmyHippo

- Tacticians

FR1DAY
Nightshadow
Gwaihir
The Village Idiot

- Scriveners

Rufus Sparkfire
Clarkarias
Kernschatten
Knight of Thorns
RGB
Fafnir

Now, these are the people that will actually go behind the screens and bash out a proper campaign. No-one has volunteered as "master" for any team yet, so we'll settle that once we have our own forum. No need for the masses to bear witness to the dreadful shennanigans, rivalries and intrigue of the Campaign Team :-D

Free Company:

cisse
Knight of Thorns
Midaski
Benedictus
Buddha7305
Squig87
Heiglot
Vimes
Fallen Scholar
Tanker
sid_vicious
EmpireJohnny72
Lizard King

You will be called upon when the Campaign Team needs some extra knuckles to get the job done. You're free to volunteer for any project made available for the FC. We'll probably establish a list of email addresses of the FC, and contact you thusly. All such procedures will be fleshed out in the coming weeks.

If you have any questions, comments, or amends to the information above, please let us know! I'm asking Grutch to set up a hidden forum and changing the team will be difficult once that is configured. If - Sigmar forbid - I forgot anyone, or put someone in the wrong team or category, make sure to drup me a line here and I'll see to it that it gets fixed.

Last but not least - thank you to everyone who signed up! The greatest asset a running campaign can have is a dedicated core team to make sure it stays active and interesting. I don't think we'll be having any problems on that end. If you do think it will be problematic to display regular and consistent dedication to the Campaign Team, now's the time to chicken out :-D

Cheers!

You can always sign up to join the Free Company, there's no problem there. Recruitment for the Campaign Team is open until a special forum is created, although I think the Team is well-stocked as is. For which should I sign you up?

You filled up the team already? Oh. It would be nice to be a scrivener. Oh well, stupid me for having a life...

Although I have been too busy of late to follow this sub-forum much, the story seems to be very good, glad the most plausable one was chosen.
EDIT: see Africa for more examples ...

Fafnir dear chap, I'm sure there is room for another in the scrivener's office. Plenty of work for all, no doubt.
Hey, I could still beat up a woman!

OK guys, the team has been completely staffed and has retreated into a secret broom closet somewhere deep in the bowels of the forums. I'm leaving this thread up for reference.

Cheers!
