With both spearmen and halberdiers under my belt I went with a swordsmen regiment painted in the iconic colours of Bogenhafen, the second richest city in Reikland after the capital.

It's a magnificent uniform for sure. After the big infantry block I wanted to take a break from batch painting, so out came Kurt Helborg to join my imperial headquarters.

I miss the old Empire heroes minis. They could be painted out of the box. No billowing tabards that had to be painted on the sprue and or 'tactical command' rocks
