It just bugs me when some countries can't keep up with the times and use sensible measuring systems like celsius or the metric system.

......, it would really help if you did research before spouting your opinion...
The world you believe is reality is a puppet show!
From a scientists perspective Fahrenheit is not a bad system but Celsius is much easier to handle also nice to understand as 0 ° Fahrenheit is something that usually doesn´t happen in reality.
Grutch: Careful, someone I know on a forum I visit works for Sony. He says they aren't to be trusted.
I remain in favor of Fahrenheit and the imperial system because I'll be damned if I have to learn a new system, but they do make a lot less sense than metric and Celsius.
Now that is just wrong. They make the same amount of sense as metric and Celsius. One way of counting can't make less sense than another.I think the Imperial is base 12 though where as the metric is base 10.
Celsius has 0 at water's freezing point and 100 at it's boiling point. Fahrenheit has those at two arbitrarily determined values. 32 is freezing point, 212 is boiling point. I'm sure there's a method to the madness of how it's organized, but Wikipedia is down for me so I don't know what it is, and I'm pretty sure it makes less sense than Celsius anyway.By less sense I mean it's harder to learn and to use.
