Having to attend an extremely patronizing ~~corporate circle-jerk~~ meeting on e-mail etiquette. I think it would be good e-mail etiquette to stop bombarding the company with garbage e-mails advertising the diploma mill the company has a sweetheart deal with or webinars no one will ever attend.

Fucking company e-mail. A place I worked at they'd bombard us with tonnes of bullshit every week - meaning everything pertaining to the IT department. Management couldn't be arsed to communicate with me any other way than through e-mail, and they'd get pissy because I hadn't sifted through their shit thoroughly enough to retrieve the handful of e-mails with actual relevant information for my 2x5 hour part time job as a trained printer-refuelling monkey.

The Email I have for work I never even check because it's all crap I don't have to worry about. What I hate is how my company texts me every time something is up. They have a computer set up to send me a notification every single time a steam boiler goes into alarm or anything else happens. When I'm sitting in bed or in class the last thing I'm worried about is going up on some god forsaken roof to bang on a 40 year old machine that my boss will call me and tell me fix anyway.

I work Maintenance at a hotel for my second job. I get three to four emails a day talking about stuff that means nothing to me. Mostly front desk stuff: how many check-ins we had, how many empty rooms are left to sell, whether or not the person at the front desk had any problems. I also get emails from the manager telling us all how great we did on phone calls that got evaluated. I don't answer the phones! Useless and annoying to have to delete them.

Yeah, my work emails are mostly useful, but three of them a day are just logs of all the calls for service we took that day. I'm so glad I declined having the IT guy set up email on my phone. If I'm not at work, I don't care what's happening at work.

cleaned the entire apartment this weekend including fixing the dishwasher and fridge, but I broke the shower head when cleaning the tub. Just when I finally got everything looking nice. Its always something.

Stupid people. Stupid people everywhere. FFS, if you need 200 of a product, why order 2 boxes of 1000 and return 1800 of them INSTEAD OF ORDERING 2 PACKETS OF 100. If you're attemtping to gimp your GP you're a moron and if it's because you can't operate the computer systems sufficiently well to *find* the packets of 100 to order, do us all a favour and **** off and retire.
