I will believe it when I see it.

Also, I hope it is a foundry mercenary orc.  :biggriin:

Is that 28mm? No? Unacceptable.

Paint, knave!

Nice shed though.
I agree with the inhumane treatment of animals.

It's actually a SHEN.

A new word that will be in the Oxford dictionary very soon since I coined it as a cross between a Shed and a Den  :engel:

From the last picture above  if you went left once through the door you would find the shed bit:

The area to the right did look like this:

The wife's bloody bike amongst other stuff:  :icon_evil:
However I managed to empty the area and then screed the floor:

Then after some concrete sealant, a couple of coats of garage floor paint:

Then the 'piece de resistance'  .................well actually a piece of carpet .................  :engel:

....... and then the start of the Den ..............................

Ok - more progress.

The start of Storage area One

and I need some shelf units to support that skirmish board.

and if they're on castors they can push together to take the 4' Square Skirmish Board, and also wheel apart to support a larger 7'6" x 4' board going across the whole width of the Shen.

Im impressed! Would like to see evidence of paint going on miniatures though!
There are 40 different shades of black, so many fortresses and ways to attack.

So why you complaining!

I've been painting pirates just prior to typing this. Stopped to make tea.

Not taken pics yet - but there is more on the SHEN though:

I started to fill shelves and realised there was too much space between the shelves ........

so we screwed some battens and added extra shelves ......................

and we have 'POWER' ...............  :closed-eyes:  ( Did you notice the light in the picture above?? )

and this is the skirmish board from Page 1 but upside down ...................

The "sea" is on the under side and the plan is to make this an alternative desert / dirt board and I will put a lip around this like on the sea board to keep scenery pieces on the table.

The Gripping Beast Boxes also include 3 Arab Infantry, and 2 each of the Arab Cavalry types.
The Perry boxes on the top shelf are also mixed sets.

The UK guys got a personal visit on the Bash return trip.   :engel:

Still sorting out things, but I am starting to work towards:-

1. Constructing Models in what is my office where this PC is.
2. Then models would move to the Painting Station area in the old Gaming Room.
3. The Shen would then act as my gaming area - and I will make my scenery up there.

So hopefully those shelves you see will end up containing all my painted stuff and all my scenery - so I can walk in - add appropriate scenery to the table, pull models off the shelves and be ready to play ......................

................... after the 5 hours it takes me to write a list ...................  :engel:

It's all metal casing - generally used for industrial units - the walls wouldn't take the normal domestic sockets you would sink in and have flush.

There's a pic with one of the lights showing too - bulkhead style with the metal cage protection so no stray waving hands, or other items etc., smash a light bulb.

Yeah, and the fact UK outlets are a LOT bigger and look a lot more "industrial" than US ones. Even after living her for nine years, I am still amazed by the flimsy nature of US outlets.

Seriously jealous.

I have a pretty large shed, I think it was someone's garage before we moved it into our back garden. So made from concrete rather than wood. Problem is there are so many spiders and crap in it I can't go near it. It's under a few trees which probably doesn't help. Would love to turn it into something like this but wouldn't know where to begin  :eusa_wall:
