Quick 'n' Dirty Lamellar Armour Sculpting Tutorial
« on: September 05, 2017, 08:33:01 PM »
Made upon request here. I've not sculpted lamellar before, and have no showcase miniature to accompany the tutorial, so this was made up on the spot. Better results are probably achieved by taking it in steps and waiting for one stage to dry before continuing to next, but this tutorial is quick 'n' dirty. Hopefully it's of some use to someone somewhere:

I like a lot of what I see here!

This is just what I was after! Thank you so much. I am struggling to put the picture and words fully together in my head, and possibly need it painted to better identify the parts, and probably need to have a few attempts myself first, but this is excellent and what I was after.
Thanks!!

I hate people who don't paint their armies, hate them with all my guts. Beats me how they value other things over painting, like eating or brushing teeth.

Hope it makes sense to follow! Never done lamellar before, so this was a shot in the dark.
