Any hobby tips on removing superglue?

I just got some old 3rd edition eldar banshee minis from ebay. They seem to be in great shape, but the holes for the pegs that keep the arms on are stuffed with old dried superglue (I think?). Any tips on removal? Would nail polish remover on the end of a toothpick be a good idea?

Might depend on the type of glue.
Maybe a pin drill might work? Sometimes I have old super glue on a figure that even just using a knife can work it taking it off.

A bucket with Simple Green seems to work for almost anything. I put some metal marines that were clogged with s.glue. After a day I could easily pull them apart and the glue remnants were pliable enough to pull with tweezers when still wet.

Whatever you normally use to remove paint from metal figures should work, in my case household paint stripper, if it doesn’t remove it will soften it enough to pull off or use a pin in the recesses.

I usually use a pin vise for that sort of thing - either it gets it all, or takes enough of a chunk that I can clear the rest out with a hobby knife.
I'm not saying that my thumbs survive every such operation unscathed, of course.

If you can get it, a chlorinated solvent will remove it very quickly.

Nail polish remover might also get the job done, I have heard about that before...
Good luck!
