Honestly GP with how busy summer is for folks I think if you can just pick a single weekend at some point over the course of the next few months and announce it well ahead of time it could work. Then perhaps return to the last Saturday of the month plan when things slow down with the fall?

Wish it was that easy.  Family in town this weekend and next weekend when my Dad's funeral is scheduled.  Then the next three weekends in a row I have gaming events that I am traveling to attend, and may have a fourth one in the works for the one after that.  I'm not counting on August either, although August 28th may end up being the best opportunity, so will see.

Any news on free weekends GP, I've been holding off on my gaming table construction until such time as it is what I can work on during a greet and paint.

Considering August 28th.  Especially since last weekend of September isn't going to be good here.  Then probably October 30th after that.

My fall weekends look shot, shipping stuff world wide is thrown off so we will be cramming four months worth of stock into maybe two months, going to be a mess. Rather than a set weekend over the fall GP maybe just come up with a date each month that potentially works and see what folks can make it. Also I work this Saturday so I would be along late maybe if you wanted to try one but I think I might being doing stuff with friends.

Its not looking good for this Saturday for me.  There's just too much happening in various aspects of life and not feeling comfortable committing the 4 hours for one of these for this weekend.  And the following 3 day weekend is definitely a no go.

September is very questionable, yet we'll see. Think I am still going to plan for October 30th.

GP is going to see if he can pick up his copy of the new Killteam starter set ... Orks and Death Korp of  Krieg!

Plan to be back for the Greet & Paint in time for 2pm EST via Zoom.  Will email out the meeting info closer to then.

I am hoping to paint some 28mm Perry Wars of the Roses figures today, and maybe sort my 28mm Perry metals for mailing to a painter.

Hope to see you at the Greet & Paint! :icon_mrgreen:

Ok ... a tad behind in getting signed on, although back from hobby store, and will be doing stuff in the hobby room for the next several hours.

Will check in here to see if anyone else is interested in joining us.  Just pm and email address, and I will catch it, and send along the meeting number and passcode.

Cheers! :icon_cool:

Weird ... saw this just a bit ago, and so sent you an email, then a pm.  Not sure why I didn't see this sooner.  Still floating around on zoom for a bit.

Sigh, so like last Friday work told us they had switched from the 30th to the 23rd as one of our mandatory Saturdays. I can potentially swing in near the tale end of the meeting, when it's closer I'll have better details.

Well glad to have your interest.

Who knows what might happen as the end of the month gets here.  My nephew has a championship cross-country Race that he hopes to be running on the 30th.  However, illness or injury could stop him before the gun goes off that day, and if he doesn't run, then I might be avilable for the 30th after all, so will see.

Well rough plan for me next Saturday is work from 6-2, maybe make a greet and paint at about 3, and then my college roommate and wife are down so event for the evening. This is still of course subject to change, work is crazy with all the logistics back up and that our cardboard bailer broke.

Except for SOF and I not sensing like  there is much interest.

If there isn't, maybe it is time to move along until November :icon_question:

Folks .... sorry to disappoint, but I am going to a gaming convention next weekend.  Going to play in a historical simulation of Cortez breaking out of the Aztec capital to get back to his base, complete with "war wagons" his men built from timbers available in the city.  I will be gone all day next Saturday, although will look on the calendar for the next free Saturday asap!
