Library Link: http://warhammer-empire.com/library/aisforaltdorf/the-city-state-of-talabheim/
Current Ruler: Elector Count Helmut Feuerbach ..... (but he's been missing since the Storm of Chaos)
so possibly Elector Count Gustav von Kreiglitz (WFRP source)
State Colours: Red and White
Map Links: (Colour) http://www.fys.ku.dk/~blicher/Talabheim_v2.jpg
(Black & White) http://www.fys.ku.dk/~blicher/Talabheim_v2_bw.jpg
Notes:
The city is built inside a massive crater accessible only via a well guarded tunnel.
The secular Knights Panther have a chapter house in Talabheim.

Talabheim FTW!!
i got 1500 pts. worth in progress, will post in brush and pallette when done.
-
I have just over 3000 points of Talabheim troops. I hope to expand my army to 4000 by the end of the summer!
-
I'm fielding 3000 points of raw Talabheim power! Including imperial pikemen and a matching Steam Tank! And a section of the Talabheim gunnery department (although they're not very large)
Shadowwolf
-
damn I got pwned by bigger armies =S
in my defense i only came over from 40k last month....
-
3000 points or so... haven't painted it all up.
Say- does anyone own Terror in Talabheim? It should detail lots of Talabheim history and quirks etc.
-
I have around 3k of Talabheimers.
The officers:
General on griffon(karl franz), wizard, mounted warriorpriest, warriorpriest and some captains.
The troop garrison:
1 spearman block, 1 swordsmen block and 26 greatswords
Halberdier and freecompany detachments
20 hangunners, 10 crossbowmen
The Knightly orders:
10 knights of the red dawn (personal order), 6 Knights panthers, 5 Knights of the whitewolf
Artillery:
Steam tank, 2 great cannons, 1 helblaster
I dont have Terror in Talabheim though :(
-
I have about 3k of Talabheim troops, along with a Middenland detachment I am currently cultivating.
-
I have roughly 4000pts of the mighty red and whites.
Should be more around the 5k mark when I finish my War Altar and pick up some new boxes next month :biggriin:
-
I've begun converting my white wolves to The hunters of sigmar! :-D
Does anyone know where our elector count is?
According to our repports, Talabecland was attacked by the Slaneesh fraction of the chaos army during the Storm of Chaos.
Could he have been tempted by the mindtricking Slaneesh?
Or was he residenced in our proud Talabheim during the storm. And taken by the Nurgle worshippers, who attacked our grand citystate?
One thing i think we can leave out is the under empire. According to my sources they are not as strong in this region as in Altdorf or Nuln.
And who should rule while is missing?
Your thoughts?

I have around 3000 pts of painted Talabheim
-
I have 1000pts of talabheim but only some painted-have only just started.
-
I'm starting 2000pts of a Talabheim army.
-
I have roughly 2000 points of Talabheim goodness, however my skill and guile as a general has landed me a command in Reikland, where I command a small border patrol of 500 points.
-
My army is from Talabheim, and is probably 3000 points strong, Talabheim ftw  <---.

Hello. My army hails from The Eye of the Forest as well.
I was wondering if anyone could help me with these fluff questions though.
Does anyone have (or know where I can find) info regarding;
- Arch Lector Aglim/Thorgad IV of Talabheim
- Seneschal Heinrich Kessler, slayer of Azhag the Slaughterer.
- Baron Heirinch Von Torlichhelm, Grand Master of the Knights Panther.
I found these last two names on wikipedia, but was unable to find their sources.
Other sources to named characters are also welcome.
Greetings.

I've got 3'000 points worth of nothing less but the finest army from the Empire! All painted in a basic form, but the city colors are bright and proud as always!
To me, what makes Talabheim so great is that in the "Mark of Chaos" novel it described Talabheim as probably one of the best man-made cities in the Empire. There are no blind-spots for snipers, no issues with canons and mortars firing from the towers and walls. "Murder holes" populate the tunnels leading from the top all the way down to the city, and at the end of these tunnels it forces the enemy so closely together that you'd had to be armless to not shoot anyone with a musket or arrow (and in the book they use canons!).
Talabheim has farmlands inside its walls and outside its city, meaning that the city can withstand months (if not years!) worth of a siege.
I know here in China, the empire players always pick Aldorf for being the 'richest' city state...So whenever I come with my Talabheim army, I'm the only one adding 'flavor' to the sight of the Empire.

i have around 1,000 and growing of Talabheim/Talabecland troops just wondering who runs the place now that Feurbachs missing
-
I love Talabheim, and have 5,500 points worth, including Knights of the blazing sun, and a Knights of the White Wolf contingent. My favourite edition is a unit of Halberdiers that we got gifted from Nordland as payment for support we offered them in a recent Norse invasion. Other than that the army is all of the red and white :biggriin:

Hej drenge!
I totally agree, the eye of the forest is probably the coolest city in the old world, even better than Nuln, Altdorf of Middenheim. I was going to choose Talabheim, but the red and white ain't got nuthin' on Averlands black and yellow! I wish that Averheim was as awesome as Talabheim, since Talabheim totally got the best fluff, but I'm too keen on Averlands black and yellow.
