Who remembers the 'Bravestar' cartoon?

Another silly hat on the engineer. But otherwise I almost like it.

I have one sentence in response to this: Empire is post-feudal, not post nuclear age!

Scaned directly from this months White Dwarf.  The silly hat can be chopped but I doubt I would want to use the thing anyway.

Gosh... I'm not sure how to feel about this...

The horse looks pretty bad ass... but its a big metal horse... that just seems kind of far fetched even for a fantasy game...

If we have big metal horses, why dont we have armies of golems and robots?  And if we have golems and robots, why dont we have a space ship or two?  Maybe some lazer guns???
I don't know what a pisolires is but it sounds like a musical instrument you play with urine...

I like it. OK it isn't the kind of thing you would or should see on the battlefield but I might just buy it anyway.

Who remembers the 'Bravestar' cartoon?

Good call.

I think it looks more like a Terminator though with its red eyes. The T4x4  :biggriin:

Engineer could do with a breast plate to tie in with the horse.

You might buy it, but would you use it for its intended purpose? The only way I would use the thing is in something like and IG army, etc.

I'll buy him, paint him, play him a few times then probably stick him on e-bay when I get bored with him.

I was actually kind of anticipating the clockwork horse model, however this.....  :?

It doesn't look all that clockwork, just a big metal horse, with evil eyes of course (although that's just painting).  I think I'll have to build my own instead (yikes!)

I'm quite afraid of all the skulls however.  I'm a bit familar with art and architeture, putting a gigantic skull on something doesn't automatically make it "gothic".  These are cartoony and will result in much cutting and removing methinks.

Looks way to much 'hi-tech' than steampunk . It is more robotic , i wa expecting some thing like the stank but this could be some mech nasty from 40K . How much will this mini be on release ? I can't see the advantage in using . Big points ink and a nice target .

No freaking WAY.  That is so beyond our present tech levels that ain't even funny.  I was picturing something so...different than this...thing.  I can't believe they are actually selling this!

Not selling, attempting to sell.

I doubt enough will be sold to cover design and production costs.

Dude, if I was Karl Franz and one of my Engineers showed my he created something so advanced as this horse there is no way in HOLY that I would let him risk his life on the battlefield.  That Engineer would be put to work right away building hydroelectric damns and steam power plants for the Empire.

Hmm.... I agree that it seem to be far to futuristic. The description on how they make it should be very creative to make it fit with the setting.

I have thought long and hard about some constructive criticism for this miniature.

I came up with 'ARSE'...

That kind of summed it up really.

My idea of a metal 'stick' horse with a big key to wind it up located up its butt is a much better concept. This is a cross between bravestar, terminator, lego, he man and 40k.

I don't normally believe in this sort of thing on a forum and appreciate our younger members may be offended by this next outburst but it is necessary.

This thing is a pile of camel turd

I'd like to see it close up - you know it is quite a dramatic pose, and with a craft knife those silly pistons on the back legs could be removed, touch of greenstuff, bit of filing here and there, paint the forelegs as though it has armour encasing the legs .............

Though Gentlemen the most interesting thing about this whole thread is that Midaski just cannot wait to hear Duckman( Mr.Robotic Horse incarnate)'s reaction  :icon_question:
