Are you running a marathon? Well done!

Yes, I ran the London marathon this year. It was like taking your body through sheer hell but I would recommend it to anyone! :-D

It is also odd that I am placing myself in the 'oldies' section of this thread at the tender age of 32.

Wow, this thread is a true revelation!

@Badwolf: Grow that beard a little longer, and you look exactly like one of the 6th edition halberdiers (the one without hat and helmet). Really, that's the first thing that came to my mind when looking at that picture. You should do some acting!

And Veldemere is the first UK-guy to post a picture who looks remotely like those fine fellows who populated the streets here in 2006. Congrats on running the marathon, as well.

You may need to explain that.  :icon_confused:

Ahem... yes, I agree about the rule suggestion for the Army book.

Another thing that would surely spice up tourneys would be if the players where forced to "dress up" for the occasion, preferably in the proper race, but at least in some proper warhammeresque outfit!
Man, it might be hard for me to be an asrai, but I would have some awesome suit.
And yes, extra points for the general that has the "best outfit", especially if he made sure his base is themed along the lines of his army.  :icon_wink:

:icon_biggrin:. I heard that a lot when they were first released. One chap was adamant that I should sue GW for using my image without permission.

I do hope you are not referring to me looking like a football hooligan? Whilst I may have certain 'physical' tendencies when I am playing I really am a pussy cat when I am watching.

The pained expression might be due to that being the 25 mile mark of the race and the person in front of me had just had an unexpected and severe bowel movement, it was all I could do not so slip in it!

Yeh, that should be in the rulebook, no playing if you're not playing for fun  :-P

Well theres something like that in there,

I like that rule, but it must often be enforced through violence.

I think it's outrageous that Veldemere should post a picture of himself engaged in exercise when the standard Warhammer player is essentially sedantry!  :-D

No, no - definitely not. You just look more sturdy in built than those compatriots of yours who have posted here so far.

Actually, I've never met a single UK-Hooligan. Seems that the people who make it over the channel are the peacefull sort.

Well the flashes (sideburns) do take a bit of effort, and I will admit to being a little sturdier than your average long distance runner.

Kudos to you siberius although the pose is a little reminiscent of Karate Kid!  :-D

My work football team, I am second from right in the back row. THey are a bloody tall team, I am 6'2"!

Why does the guy on the back left look so happy?
