Well yes, I knew that (the rank bit). And yes, that answers my question (I was trying to think of a good way to ask the question).

My barber was in arty as it happens.

Bright polos in eighties turqouse colour is so elvish... :closed-eyes:

Cool engine though, Union, you get a cookie for shaking hands of an engineer of such an awesome machine!

The engineer was a really cool guy, and the locomotive itself was beautiful. As a rail nut, I was in heaven on that railroad... 7 hour round-trip behind a steam locomotive? Hell yeah!
Oh, and thanks for the cookie.  :-D *nomnoms*

In the US Army, Specialist is a rank. Same pay grade as Corporal, but not necessarily a leadership position. I am no longer the rank of Specialist (that photo is a few years old now) but the title of my military occupational specialty is Public Affairs Specialist, Writer.

At first glance I thought your name tag said "Gollum."

We had 2000 points per player, so 4000 per side. My opponent had another barbarian army (using the Warlord list from Fall of the West.) As you can see, our armies stretched almost solidly from one end of the 8' table to the other.

We had two draws. In each of our two games one of us did well while the other did poorly.

We faced a Macedonian/German team and a Carthaginian/Greek team.

It was a lot of fun, I'm looking forward to the next one.

Barbarian armies seem quite popular is there an army that nobody likes to play....like the Ogre Kingdoms in WHFB?

 I was a bit bored at that time, mum was driving us alone, searching for some pretzel (we had walkeb by several place selling it the days before, and she really wanted to try them), and when we finally found a place with it, it was nowhere to sit!
