Pay attention Nicholas ..........  :icon_wink:

Quick Summary:

It's only a rulebook - no box.
Very similar to "Legends of the Old West" also produced by GW.

Basically it is a mix of Mordehim and LotR. A skirmish game between warbands and your heroes have the special moves and might points etc.

High Seas has the bonus of some boats v boats fighting, and fighting on boats action.

Now look for the Ships thread also on this board ....................

Mine was £18 or £20, but had a Cabin boy model! Which I can't use becaue only Privateers have Cabin Boys.  :icon_mrgreen:

Corrected - although I am sure the odd Naval Captain would quite like a cabin boy ........

Bring it to the Bash - you can swap it for something ........

Oho... I just tought it was some Ship to ship action... Maybe that is a more interesting buy than even Warhammer ECW?

Ah no Mathi - indeed the book probably spends more time on the 'crew' (warband) than it does on the ships.

You can skirmish on islands, in shanty towns, the jungle, and even on the docks and on moored boats. The fact that it then combines ship v ship action as well makes it even better.

Don't forget the tavern brawl scenario.  :icon_mrgreen:

Well ... found a copy of this baby, and bought it for $50. :icon_eek:

I had wanted to get a copy back when it was released in the early 2000s, but never did.

Now it's on the shelf, and I'm liking what I see inside it. :icon_biggrin: :icon_cool: :::cheers:::
