My old Mordheim table...
« on: July 18, 2009, 07:28:17 AM »
Found an old pic that a friend had taken so I thought I should show it to you here. The board was a regular 4x4 with two dozen buildings, including a sexy wall, warp pool and dozens of smaller rubble piles/accessories.

Click me for more pics!

I sold it though (something I may regret later).

I've never even played Mordheim.  :icon_cry:

Once I've made my undead warband entirely from old Heroquest models, I shall be getting games of it or I will set fire to Wales.

That table is amazing. I wish I was playing on that last night. My friend Alys and I just started another round of Mordheim last night and played 'til 4:30 this morning. That terrain certainly beats the handful of Cadian ruins and two pieces of Mordheim cardboard building I've got, hehe.

Rad table, you will regret selling it. And if I find you, you will regret not selling it to me...

Mordheim is my favorite of the GW games. The rules could probably do with a little tweaking and/or updating. A second edition would be very welcome. I don't know why they don't support it more. Get rid of LotR already. More Mordheim!

I agree! More Mordheim perhaps a gang war like campaign a little bit like this:

http://www.gamespot.com/pc/strategy/chaosoverlords/index.html?tag=result;title;0

where you have to conquer territories and are granted supplies, members, etc. if you station members there and I would be joyful delighted.

Oh and I agree with all the selling threatening...well on the other hand he should keep selling the tables so someday one might be on sale on ebay.

They don't support it as much as they should because a player only needs to buy 10 plastic models to play the game.

Seriously ... that is one wicked cool table top!

I've got a guy locally that is going to teach me how to play Mordheim, and they run a annual Mordheim league I hope to play in this fall, too.

Dammit, Shadowlord! Dammit!  :icon_eek:

I mean, you could have housed a minibash with that table and taught some of us to play Mordheim and we could have had one hell of a weekend campaign each having some neat themed warbands.

1. Shadowlords ravishing Reiklanders
2. Mathis merciless witchhunters
3. Shadowwolfs crazy carnival (gotta have someone doing chaos)
etc...

Shame, shame... :icon_frown:

Oh, and remember GW made it personal, not you!

beautiful table, shame you sold it, but don't kick yourself  too hard, now you just have to build a better one.  :biggriin:
