Good afternoon all!

I am looking to start a new league for Blood Bowl 2, checked it's okay to advertise with a mod and figured this would be a good place to do it! Do you have BB2? Do you want to play against people who are friendly? Then get it on Steam and join the W-E league! If you're interested lets get this going!

I look forward to playing a balanced league! Just tried to play a game, it's ridiculous that it matches up 1700 elf teams against 1000 new teams! Is just frustrating!

One thing I hate about Blood Bowl is their poor interface and UI. We building teams from scratch?

I play all my internet Blood Bowl on FUMBBL. I've thought about picking up the video game, but I can always find an opponent on FUMBBL, it's free, and it's true to the board game. So I decided to save the cash.

Mogsam, try to cancel the search before 15 seconds is up and start it again. It might take a few cycles but during the first 15 seconds it will try and match you with a much closer team tv.

Yeah from scratch.

That's good to know Sib, it'll stop me ending up conceding when every single player on their team has dodge, block and mighty blow and I have linemen. After 6/7 turns it stops being fun. It feels like bad sportsmanship to concede but it's not fun and takes an hour and a bit most times!

Yeah when I've taken wood elves to high TV it gets very hard to avoid the chaos kill teams. Even when you buy an extra apo you've used both by turn 2 and are feeling pretty worried about your wardancers...

But using the stop start game finder method I've not gone into one of those crazy matchups for a long time and not conceded for ages. I try to tell myself these days when I get in against a kill team that a little TV trimming might not be so bad anyways...

Blood Bowl is fun at the basic level until you get the teams with a bazillion abilities.

And then it's still fun, mostly. It's rare that it happens within the time frame of a tournament or league though. Things like FUMBBL and the computer games to make it possible now though.

I must admit once TVs start to hit 15-1800 I start to get more scared of what I might face. That said, I usually do ok. It's just there are so many skills on so many different models it gets hard to remember them and you start making silly mistakes.

Dwarfs Badwolf? My dark elves are feeling a bit wary now...

I usually play Chaos Dwarfs on the tabletop but they're not an option in BB2.

I generally finish at the bottom of the table in club leagues but I try for the highest body count.
