Painting Tau ...
« on: May 13, 2021, 07:44:10 PM »
Been looking around for examples of painted Tau, and came across this video ...

 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4kxQkHzJfV8

I'd been considering painting my Tau in a brown or green scheme.  Like what that guy did with his Tau Killteam squad, including the brown skin tone instead of the usual blue/gray or gray colors that are typically seen.  I'm still a bit undecided on how mine will get painted, although this almost had me convinced about giving this kind of green look to them.

From the master Tau painter no less. I’ve seen nothing better than SKS’s tau painting skills. The best. Of course if you go to his blog, you may end up burning your brushes and dumping your paint but that’s the risk 😺

Yes, SKS's Tau look terrific! :icon_biggrin: :::cheers:::

Painting my Tau are not my top priority at the moment, although I may do the one's in the Killteam starter set as my starting project with them, but will see.

I like the idea of painting the stealth suits in camoflage ...

... probably wouldn't use the gray look, this is designed for an urban feel environment, although I like the overall idea. :icon_cool:

It's a pain to actually do though.. takes a lot of time (well it takes me alot of time with my paint schemes...)

Agreed.  I'd probably only camo the stealth suits.
