Same date as above ... continued with a medium gray on the rocks of the marsh scenery piece, painted first coat of flesh on 12 archer's for my representation of Hawkwood's White Company.

Day 180 of 182 & Day 154 for 2022: Picked out one figure from the intended as Hawkwood archers, and painted first color of gray on his padded armor, followed by a cream colored over brush of the high points, which is not really a dry brush, but instead a thicker coat. This has left the recesses in the medium gray. I'm contemplating doing this to his other clothing, and then use a different color on top of those as a way of doing color and a highlight in one stroke of the brush.

I did do the latter on a pouch and the over hood of his head, to see how that'd turn out, and might try this for the scabbard, maybe even the helmet.

Day 181 of 183 & Day 155 for 2022:Put more tufts on marsh scenery piece, touched up one color of green in a few spots. Also read the rules from the Battletech Beginners Set.

Day 182 of 185 & Day 156 for 2022: Put more basing material on last two bases of archers for Hawkwood's White Company, and fixed the leaders basing too. Also glued on the last 4 figures on to their bases as well.

Motivation seemed low today, not sure what that is all about, maybe just tiredness form the gardening this past weekend.

Day 183 of 185 & Day 157 for 2022: Painted first flesh coat on 4 more archers, glued rocks to the archer bases to represent being in a boulder field, and glued a bow back together.

Ha! Had an easier time with motivation this morning, after a good night's sleep.

Day 184 of 186 & Day 158 for 2022: Painted some dull red onto one archer that I am experimenting with a paint scheme upon. Also did a mid to dark gray on all helmets, pommels, ends of the scabbards, and arrow heads for the group of 12 archers.

It's hard to believe I've kept this up for as long as I have, and since January 1st. It's already June and I am rarely having an issue getting something in for the hobby. It doesn't feel much like it is on automatic pilot, although I've had that feeling emerge in the background once or twice.

Day 188 of 190 & Day 162 for 2022: Painted some more padded armor on the unit of 12 Hawkwood's archers, worked on adding more tufts to the marsh scenery piece, and painted all straps and pouches on 12 Wars of the Roses archers.

More gardening today! But I don't count that ... lol. It's a hobby, and it produces yummy food, too!

Day 189 of 191 & Day 163 for 2022: More tufts added to the marsh scenery piece, and several sets of reeds as well. It's probably ready for water effects being poured at some point next.

Day 190 of 192 & Day 164 for 2022: Painted more of padded armor on 12 archers, but it just wasn't working for me.

Stopped stresing myself out, and decided to call it a night ... it's Monday.

Noticing a subtle slow down these last few days. It's like I can do a little bit, with no immediate motivation, while finding the need to only do that with a level of being able to only do so much, seems to be mostly due to tiredness.

Day 191 of 193 & Day 165 for 2022: Painted dark gray on inner folds on one archer, and the rest of the paint went to painting a mule.

Awake early this morning after turning in early, and the rest as done me good, not surprising.

Day 192 of 194 & Day 166 for 2022: Painted all leggings on the archers in a light gray, did a few more tunics in a deep red, finished initial coat of cream on the rest of the padded armor, and painted all bows in a wood handle color. Lots more to do, yet plenty of progress this morning.

Day 193 of 195 & Day 167 for 2022: Started defining lines on the 12 archers in a medium gray, but not easy after a long day, so stopped well short of getting them all complete.

Day 195 of 197 & Day 169 for 2022: Went to a friend's and learned how to use Paint to make maps for a Snappy Nappy Campaign in a Day event, and made an area map for the Battle of Klyastitzy and for the Battle of Oboiarschina.

Day 196 of 198 & Day 170 for 2022: Finished defining padded armor with dark gray on 3 archers.

Day 198 of 200 & Day 172 for 2022: Painted cream on three of 12 archers to further define the colors, but it wasn't going well, and so rather than further irritating myself, stopped for another day.

Day 199 of 201 & Day 173 for 2022: Worked on creating army lists for the various commands to be used for a Snappy Nappy Campaign in a Day event. Also got a unit of 12 spearmen, a unit of 12 javelin throwers, and two units of 6 bidowers each, organized into a box lid for gluing on weapons and shields, and eventually getting them primed.

Day 201 of 203 & Day 175 for 2022: Organized together units for a Lion Rampant game with friends today for French and Feudal Garrison armies. Got them all in the same tray, and collected together some scenery in a box.

Day 202 of 204 & Day 176 for 2022: Going to go buy bagels and cream cheese, bacon and coffee for a little bit of fellowship and fun with playing Lion Rampant today.

Struggled a bit to get something in today, maybe it was the weather.

Day 203 of 205 & Day 177 for 2022: Put flesh wash on faces and hands of 12 free company archers for Hawkwood's white company, and then also used the same wash on the rocks glued to the bases. The latter item looks way better!

No struggle like yesterday.

Day 204 of 206 & Day 178 for 2022: Used a dark to medium blue on some archers' clothing, and then some military brown color as well. Also used the blue on a figure from Footsore Miniatures for an early 13th century French King's cloak.
