That figure looks better than the picture on the box. Might need to pick one up.  :icon_lol: :icon_biggrin:

If I recall, there are a couple of other special figures for Warcry.  I was eyeing a big one further back, perhaps at some point.

Day 125 ... had enough flesh paint on pallet for 6 more 28mm WotRs figures.  Just couldn't get motivated to paint the last 6, maybe tomorrow.

Not really. Grouping like discussions into appropriately named threads is one aspect of moderating.
When I first became a mod, it was a lot more strict to keep topics in topic. However there were also a lot more threads....
5
Which was confirmed sooner than I suspected. Certain moderators are getting ahead not just of themselves, but, more importantly, of the original creators of a thread. If the OP wants to object, that is fine with me, but it is not anyone else's call to make. There is a name for that: censorship.
6
And I must wonder - was it brr-icy who suddenly split off/started this particular thread? I should think not.
7
That is neither here nor there. Ruleswise, sliding was always illegal, but in 6th/7th edition, its application was advised (with mutual consent). In 8th, it is still illegal, except by combat reform.

I feel we are hijacking the thread a bit, but in this case the description only concerns the charger and not the charged. You need to bring as many of your models as you can to bear, but you don't care how many of the enemy models are becoming engaged. This leaves a window open for single models like chariots, monsters or single characters to go corner to corner of a big unit. This usually limits their attacks to an absolute minimum. I've seen this abused in tournaments with shooty lists with chariots. Hang back, shoot a bunch, charge chariots into corners of enemy units. Lots of fun (not really).

If I am not mistaken in 8th the rules specify that you have to bring in a maximal number of your models and the enemy ones too.

Not here to debate the superiority of one edition over the other, I just think the wording was a bit tighter in later editions.

My doctor called today, regarding chest xrays being good, suppose to pick up two prescriptions (which I will and look up what these are), and referring me to a Hemotologist for elevated hemoglobin or some such.  Did some reading at lunch time regarding food choices and getting high blood pressure down, going to make some changes.

Gaunts Ghost remain my favorite as well. The only thing thats a must by in my mind, but the deepkin and centaur god I both think look good ranging on awesome for the centaur.

Agree on the above. They will be had.
