Wargames Factory making plastic Historical Models
Phydox:
It looks like this company is planning 28mm plastic multipart Romans and Celts...with more to come, if you look at the future books.

The price ain't bad either. Imagine the conversion possibilities...
Badwolf:
Excellent. Hopefully more companies will see there is a big market for 28mm plastics and it's something we'll see more of. The Perrys are releasing their own 28mm historical plastics soon starting with ACW with other ranges in the pipeline (ECW I had heard whispered).

Thank you GW for Warhammer Ancients, ECW, El Cid etc. I can now play a rules system I've always loved but don't have to pay through the nose for your vastly overpriced miniatures.

You must be the first I have ever encountered who thought historical games should be played with GW minis.
Not even GW does that...

That's not quite what I was getting at. :icon_redface:. What I meant to say is that I've always been a Fantasy gamer and only dabbled in historicals because I was never too keen on their (historicals) rules systems so I stuck to fantasy and GW figures. Now that the Warhammer Historical rules systems have gained a lot more popularity I can find opponents to play against using the rules system I most like (ie. Warhammer) but I can buy 28mm plastic (historical) infantry for a lot less than GW fantasy minis. ie. £12 for 36 infantry.
Mathi Alfblut:
So nice! I hope I can get my hands on the Fields of Glory book somehow and start trying it out!
