Hi all!

My old Stirland army is going through a wash and will be repainted to Middenland theme. I have also collected some Middenland/Cult of Ulric models to add to the army. With The Old World looking pretty interesting game, I wanted make a list for the core army of my Middenlanders from where to expand. I'm pretty happy with list, though the Lord Wizard could use some more protective magic items. But I can add those in higher point lists.

PowerSeries:
You have 5 detachments and only 2 regimental units, which could be a problem.

I might try and put a ward save on the wizard general.  What's the plan with him?

I might also try and put the Prist of Ulric in with the knights.  And give them hammers because it's order of the white wolf and fluffy. (Shields are good though ...)

I don't know about the Griffon Standard.  It's +2 but not if you get hit by first charge, or take some casulties, or get hit in the flank.  I might use those points to put the bsb on a demi griff?  It's more likely to get a wound or two to get the same combat res, and keeps him alive.

As Middenheim does have access to Knights Panthers, lance knights fit the theme; though if KotWW is to be taken, IMO they really should be in the IC slot just for FPA.
Just wondering, what's the role of the mortar? I thought it was bad in this edition, with the base size change and whatnot. I plan on getting that warcry goblin wolf rider and see if I can convert some giant wolf riders that was mentioned in 8th edition Empire rulebook, and use them as Demis.
