Plan is kinda have the helblaster protect the other artillery... i was thinking about it, and taking a mess of handgunners may be kind of silly, when 2 morters is 1/4th the points, and if you get 15 hits on average per round of fire (not to outragous with two morters), with 40 handgunners, you're only looking at what? 15 as well?
Cannons can be my "long rifles" and snipe little nasties as WELL as big monsters i don't like. which is nice.
Battle plan is overload a flank with knights while blasting the other one with artillery... hopefully the one side will be so depleated by the time my knights get there that my depleated knights won't have a problem...
Note:
This is not my fault. I asked for advice, got 1 reply, and my twisted imagination took hold. Blame yourselfs and my imagination. ;)
P.S. seems the only way i can get the calvery/gunline armies combined ?
Gyro LC:
Would work well in most situations since you have tons of flank units. No magic defense would get you beat real quick, however. Against the right opponent it'll be great, against any magic army you'll be in a tough spot.
Von Doom:
Yes you need some anti-magic either a 'scroll caddy' or a lvl 2 just to give you some breathing space, against hostile magic heavy armies.
Jester:
Cool, i'll adjust accordingly, 1 scroll caddy comm'n right up.
I should have pics of my army up by tuesday as well.
Jester:
Great, Finished army list up in other post.
please comment there!
thanks again
